It’s been a long time, how have you been? A line from one of my all-time favourite video games, Portal 2, it felt an apt start to this blog, given it’s been almost 10 months since our last update. Many many things have happened in that time. The most notable of which would be A) the MOT on the Jeep ran out B) Lockdown 2 prevented me from getting to where we over wintered the Jeep to do much work on it myself.

We planned to leave the Jeep with Victoria’s brother as he had space on his drive and because he’s very good with cars and was going to help us give the Jeep a bit of a service and a tune up. Sadly, which increased restrictions and lockdown 2 and 3 going over to work on the Jeep took longer than planned. We made good progress however in making the Jeep safer, more reliable and more screen accurate!

Today after many months of tweaks and tinkering the Jeep passed its MOT and is now back on the road, meaning more fun and more adventures await in the rest of 2021. I’ll write a full post about what we’ve done during our time away, and if I’m brave, I’ll work out all the costs involved too. Suffice to say it’s running really well and we should have an awesome summer in store!
